Search Queries
Text entered into a search box is sent to the outside provider that operates the tool. That provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not keep a separate log of the name or place entered into the search field.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email us, the message may be retained so a response can be sent. It remains within the organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, ordinary server and analytics logs may record:

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site explains how to locate Kittitas County material held by the Sheriff's Office, courts, Washington State Patrol, and the Washington Sex Offender Public Registry. Visitor information is not assembled into a consumer report. Washington's Public Records Act, chapter 42.56 RCW, and criminal-history dissemination rules in chapter 10.97 RCW govern public agencies and their records, not a private copy of official data hosted here.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies power the search boxes. Information entered there is governed by the provider's privacy policy, retention schedule, and sharing terms. Review those terms before submitting a query because this policy does not control the provider's systems.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Kittitas County offices, Washington court portals, state agencies, or other services. Their own privacy terms apply once a visitor leaves this site.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select ads. That processing occurs within their systems.

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:
